All of our pre-holiday fun.

As we headed towards our holidays we were busy with lots of fun things.

Our show-n-tell were definitely some great things to see.

Florent brought in her special creature. He was a cute little alien head. She has a passion for collecting these creatures.

Here she is explaining all about it.
This is not her first creature and not her last. A few months later she would get another one for her birthday.

Thanks for sharing your creature with us Florent.

Next we had Alejandro. He brought in two of his favorite books: Mysterious Times and Explorers Gazette.
Cool books Alejandro!

Alejandro was reading about one of the real life mysteries of our country.

Next we had Aspen, who brought in his hermit crabs that he got while he was in third grade.
Aspen is showing us the crabs outside of the cage.

Awesome hermit crabs.
We got to watch them walk around on the blanket.

Aspen has a really informative board about hermit crabs.

Next we had Celina, who brought in her special blanket and her stuffed dog.
Look how cozy that looks.

Celina likes to sleep with them every night.

Next, Maddi brought in a special piece of art. She likes to make nature creations and then her mom, Elizabeth takes pictures of these art creations. She framed some of the pictures and gave it to her dad.
Maddi is showing us the different art and pictures.

She is explaining the different pictures.

Thanks Maddi, very cool nature art.

WAHtOOOO Field Trip time. We headed to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center to celebrate Native American History Month.
The boys beginning our tour.
A few of us learning how to sew.

What a great day, learning all about the history of pottery, jewelry and the different tribes we were studying.

We are learning about the cultivation of the land.

A of the girls are learning about the Native American School.
